Odyssey 2024 is a unique tattoo project that will bear witness to your personal journey throughout the whole year.
It centres around the power of intentions - setting the tone for the year ahead, using the body as a living canvas to mark the passage of time by ink.
As the new year starts, you will mark the beginning of the journey with a small and unassuming dot tattoo. This dot represents the seed of thought, the nascent intentions that will shape the upcoming year. The dot serves as a visual anchor and a reminder of the commitment to personal growth.
As the year unfolds, you will have the opportunity to revisit your intentions and celebrate milestones. At the end of the year, additional botanical or abstract elements will be added —a visual representation of the journey's progression.
Project Process:
The process involves collaboration between you and me. The tattoos will be done in 2 phases.
Phase 1: Planting the Seed (Anytime, 2024)
Everything begins with a thought, represented by the dot—the seed of intention.
In Phase 1, in early 2024, we will initiate the journey by giving you a dot tattoo. We will also discuss your story and lay the groundwork for your personalised tattoo journey. A plan for your phase 2 tattoo will be drafted for the end of the year. The dates can be flexible and just need to be prior to phase 2.
The dot is standardised and serves as a collective starting point. The additional elements added in phase-2 are highly individualised.
Phase 2: Blooming (End of 2024)
At the end of the year, we will reach the stage of blooming. Whether building on the existing dot or starting fresh at a different body placement.
The emphasis of the design will be on the natural flows and shapes of your body.
Designs below showcase styles and expectations for the second phase, giving you a glimpse of the possibilities. I'll be working with either abstract or botanical elements.

Your desired body placement for phase 1. Feel free to share info about phase 2 if you have an idea already. Otherwise we can discuss this at phase 1 appointment.

Once your email’s received and reviewed, you’ll hear back from me within 10 working days. If proceeding further, we will schedule an appointment for phase 1.

A non-refundable deposit is needed to secure your place in the project.

The project will be visually documented. If you have any concerns about being photographed or videoed, please inform me when booking.

Can I choose any design for Phase 2?

You have the freedom to select your body placement* and subject matter (limited to botanical and abstract elements). However, the tattoo will be created in my style and adhere to the project guidelines.

What if I don't want a flower tattoo?

That's totally fine. I work with other botanical or abstract elements for this project. Please state your preference when booking.

What if I want to change the body placement or idea for Phase 2?

No problem. The Phase 2 blooming tattoos don't have to be connected to the dot. And it's ok if your idea evolved throughout the year. I can design a tattoo according to your story.

When can I book for Phase 2?

Phase 2 will be completed in November and December 2024 and you can secure a date at anytime. If you’d like to have the tattoo done earlier than Nov 2024, please get in touch and I will try my best to accommodate.

What if I decide not to participate in Phase 2?

That's completely fine. Please kindly inform me if you’d like to forfeit your place in Phase 2. Please note no refunds will be issued for personal projects.

Can I transfer my deposit?

Deposit is non-refundable and can’t be transferred to another person, nor to a different tattoo project with me.
